Meet Marcia of Marbellas!
Multi-award winning certified Master Groomer Marcia Strong has been working as an accredited Professional Pet Groomer since 2006.
With a keen eye for detail and a competitive spirit, Marcia impresses in all aspects of the pet grooming industry. Marcia began her grooming career 15 years ago, training under two of the world’s top pet groomers. After gaining experience in the salon, Marcia decided to take her skills to the competitive grooming ring in 2010. She has earned multiple awards and titles in various Poodle and Mixed Breed classes, as well as having her work published in international magazines, proving to the dog grooming world she is here to stay.
In 2015, Marcia became a Certified Master Groomer through the Canadian Profession Pet Stylists (CPPS), the only legal certification board in Canada. While studying her way to the top, she also opened her first pet grooming salon, “Fairy Tails Dog Spaw” in St. Albert, Alberta, CA. With the new title of Certified Master Groomer, her reputation turned the small town salon into an full-fledged canine enterprise. Fairy Tails Dog Spaw was equipped with four full-time groomers and two doggie daycare attendants when she made the decision to sell the salon in 2017.
Since then, Marcia has brought her skills and expertise back East. Moving home to Ontario, CA, she became one of four certifiers for the CPPS and began judging competitive grooming competitions as well as teaching grooming seminars world-wide. Marcia attends many grooming seminars herself to ensure she is up-to-date and keeping her skills sharp to remain competitive in the ever-evolving industry.
If that’s not an outstanding enough resume, Marcia has also opened two incredibly successful grooming salons in Clarington, Ontario.
Through out her entire career Marcia’s number one goal is to ensure the safety and comfort of the pets in her care. She started Marbellas Grooming Supply in 2020. Marbellas supplies groomers with supplies and tools to make the grooming experience more enjoyable for everyone!
